Perseus

Hi! I’m Perseus! I’m thinking this Rescue thing is a pretty good gig. I was kind of scared when I first came to my foster home but everyone here is really nice and there’s a lot of play time. When my foster folks talk about me they say I have good manners and that I’m a great companion dog. I think I’m a pretty good catch, too. I love to walk on a leash and snuggle up with my humans or a canine buddy.
Speaking of canine buddies, I have a very very best friend named Harlow. We’ve lived together for a long time. My foster mom and dad also foster Chihuahuas so we got to move together when we came to Rescue (I am supposed to say that no Italian Greyhound Rescue funds were used for my buddy). My BDF’s (best dog friend) name is Harlow. She’s way cool and very sweet, snuggly and playful. Harlow and I know we might not get to stay together, but thought we ought to mention that we’re really good friends just in case someone has room for two.
I have skin cancer, so my new human will need to keep an eye on it. We’ll tell you all about it.
I’m accepting applications for a home with someone who’s home a lot and hopefully has another canine pal for me to play with (or wants Harlow to come along). If you’re looking for a great companion who’s a ton of fun, I’m The One.
Perseus is being fostered in the Seattle, WA area. Washington/Oregon residents who want to begin the process to adopt an IGCA Rescue dog, please email us at igrfadopt@gmail.com to learn about the IGCA adoption process and receive an application, which may also be downloaded here: Download IGRF Rescue Application . We are always willing to consider placing a dog out of state, but applicants are asked to apply to and work with us through their local IGCA Rep.
