Rescue to the Rescue . . . Leo came into rescue in early July after spending most of the previous eight weeks in a kennel, traveling from Texas through California to Washington. It was a rough journey but Leo is tough and he knew he wanted his forever home to be in the Pacific Northwest. This sweet guy is about 7 years old with a crooked tail and sunny disposition.
Leo's super power is LOVE - he loves to love his person with tail wags and licks, has a loving heart and spirit, loves to eat, loves to go on walks, loves to snuggle, loves to eat, loves laps, loves to run and play with other dogs (his size) and loves to curl up in his kennel for a nap! Leo appreciates each kind word and touch, he is an easy keeper, and very loyal.
Leo recently had his dental work and blood work done and came out with shiny white teeth and a clean bill of health. Leo currently spends about 4-6 hours a day with his foster siblings while his foster mom is at work. He "mostly" pees on pee pads at night but does best with regular trips outside to go potty. Leo's foster mom does use belly bands when she is gone during the day and that helps prevent accidents. Leo eats twice a day - dry dog food with just a teaspoon of wet food mixed in. Leo’s ideal home is one without cats. He would do well with older children.
Leo has thrived in his foster home and is now ready for his forever home. It's time to adopt this sweet, sensitive, affectionate IG - will it be you?
