Joey

Hi! My name is Joey and I’ve made HUGE progress since March when I came into rescue. Check out my before and after photos. Boy, I just wasn’t feeling well back then. I couldn’t keep any food down and I hurt all over. My hair was even missing down my spine and tail. But this amazing rescue has taken great care of me. They found out that I need a special type of food and need to eat on a set of stairs to keep my food down. Now I’ve gained weight and grown back my hair. I feel much better! My mouth is healthy now too, so I can smile with my pearly whites. I still have a sore back and shoulders from time to time so I need to remember not to jump too much or play too rough with my stuffed animals. It sure is hard to remember that though because I LOVE to play. Keep away is my favorite game. I still feel nervous and spin some, but it’s gotten better after being on some medication that I take like a good boy. They say I have a heart murmur too, but it doesn’t seem to slow me down any. I’m really looking for a home that wants to give me some love and I’ll give them some love in return. I want someone who will let me sit on their lap and cuddle in bed at night. I get along “OK” with my foster brothers but I’d really prefer to be the only one getting attention so best if I’m your only kid. Can you be my new mommy or daddy? If so, please let rescue know you’re interested and fill out an adoption application. I’m super excited to meet my new family.
Joey is being fostered in the Vancouver, WA area.
