Bitsy
Little Bit, LB, Bitsy – whatever you call this sweet girl, she will respond with enthusiasm and love! She is 8 pounds of energy, attitude and loyalty. Bitsy was abandoned with a mouth full of rotten teeth. All her teeth were removed and most of her lower jaw due to untreated dental infections. But that hasn’t slowed this little IG down one bit! She eats a soft diet of Petfresh chicken twice a day, has a great appetite and will try to sneak a bite of whatever you are eating!
Bitsy does have some hip/joint inflammation that requires a dose of anti-inflammatory medicine once a day (just a couple drops on her food in the evening). The medicine is approximately $20/month. Bitsy loves to go on (short) walks, playing fetch with her favorite toys and snuggling up in your lap for a nap. She also loves to sit in the sunshine and nap with her foster siblings, has excellent potty habits and will use a dog door.
After years of neglect, Bitsy is looking for a home where she has companionship, snuggle time and get lots of love. Bitsy gets along well with people and other pups (she has not been around cats) however she is very small, with tiny, delicate bones so a house without young children is best.
If you are ready to welcome this bundle of love into your home, please submit an application to adopt sweet Bitsy.
