If you are looking for an Italian Greyhound under 2 years of age:
Most IGs that come into rescue are “middle aged” (6-9 years old) or seniors (10+ years). On the rare occasions when we have a puppy released to us, we are careful to place them in a home with IG or sighthound experience. Italian Greyhounds are difficult to housetrain and young IGs are prone to expensive leg breaks. There is currently a waiting list for dogs under 2 years of age. The wait time can be a year or more. Another way to locate an IG pup is to contact a reputable breeder. Here is a link to reputable breeder referrals from the Italian Greyhound Club of America. https://italiangreyhound.org/find-an-ig/breeder-referrals/ We wish you every success in finding the perfect dog!
